Melanie YC Pepe

Melanie YC Pepe is the Executive Artistic Director of Weathervane Playhouse, where she has proudly served for over 20 years. A graduate of Kent State University with a BFA in Theatre, Melanie continued to support her alma mater as a member of the School of Theatre and Dance Advisory Board. She is also a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).

Fred Gloor

Mr. Gloor is the Associate Artistic Director and Marketing Director at Weathervane Playhouse. He has directed eight shows at Weathervane: The Play That Goes WrongClueThe Who's TommyNoises Off,  It's Only a Play, You Can't Take It With You, The Lyons,  and 4000 Miles.

Keith Campbell

Keith, a native of Canton, Ohio, graduated in 1992 from The University of Akron with a bachelor's degree in English. At UA, he served as editor of The Buchtelite and sang with the Akron Symphony Chorus. During the summers of 1995 and 1996, he interned in the box office at Porthouse Theatre. He joined the Weathervane staff in November 1996, and he was honored with the 2005 Weathervane Board of Trustees Award. He lives in Akron and enjoys volunteering with his Highland Square neighbors in Keep Akron Beautiful's Adopt-A-Site program.

Joshua T. Larkin

Mr. Larkin has overseen the accounting functions of Weathervane Playhouse since 2017, having previously worked as a public accountant specializing in Federally funded Low-Income Housing projects. He holds BAs in Public Accounting and Business Management from Muskingum University. A native of Dover, OH, he is currently a resident of Akron, where he is building a family with his wife, Brooke, and their son, Ronan.

Kathy Kohl

Kathy Kohl holds a degree in elementary education from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in business management from Aurora University in IL. She began her theater career at Weathervane as a volunteer on many lighting, set construction, and props crews, joining the professional staff in 2002. She also served for seven years as master carpenter and master painter for the theater department at Firestone High School.

Ayron Lord

Mr. Lord graduated in 2017 from Case Western Reserve University with a BSE in Computer Engineering.  Practically raised in the theater by his mother, Ayron is no stranger to all sides of the stage.

Elijah Chase

Elijah joined the Weathervane staff in 2021. He is a native of Houston Texas and a graduate of Kent State University where he got his B.A. in Theatrical Studies with a concentration in Production. He is no stranger to the stage; both on and off, performing in Weathervane's The Color Purple, Sweeny Todd, the 2023 8x10's, most recently Weathervane's production of Ragtime and Kent State's production of Parade.
