Weathervane Playhouse announces auditions for students interested in a performing career in musical theatre.

The Weathervane Musical Theatre Company, a pre-professional theatre training program, taught by New York City actress and teacher, Kathleen Rooney Faubel.

This exciting new program will help our talented students gain competitive musical theatre training to better prepare them for college auditions and the professional theatre world.  They will spend half of their Saturday on focused musical theatre technique and the other half rehearsing for a unique performance opportunity that will showcase each company member on our stage in a special Gala night event. Don't miss out on this unique training experience to belong to a company and community full of passionate musical theatre artists!

Kathleen, a graduate of the renowned musical theatre program at Baldwin Wallace University, has worked in all aspects of "the biz" in New York City, around the country and internationally. She also has an impressive resume of tv/commercial credits to her name. Her former students have been accepted into top musical theatre programs throughout the country. Kathleen knows what it takes to give students the edge in a competitive industry and can't wait to work with Northeast Ohio talent!
