David Redle
David A. Redle is a lifelong resident of the Akron area, save for a few years obtaining his education. He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA and a JD, both from the University of Akron. Between his MBA and returning to earn his law degree, he spent a number of years in local industry. In addition to maintaining a part-time practice of law, he spent thirty-one years teaching law related courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business at the University of Akron. For the last sixteen years of his tenure at the university, prior to retirement, he served as Chair of the Department of Finance of the College of Business Administration. In addition to his business and legal experience, he has served several non-profits in the area, including his high school alma mater's alumni association, and his undergraduate schools's alumni association. Before moving from Bath Township in 2020, he served a number of years on the Water and Sewer Commission and as a citizen member of the Audit Committee. Widowed in 2015, he has three daughters and four grandchildren and currently resides with his significant other, Rosemary Downing.
