Auditions are open to individuals 18 and up.

Sunday, June 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Callbacks will be held on Monday, June 30.

Performances: September 11 – October 12, 2025 (20 performances total)

ABOUT THE SHOW

Come From Away is a powerful, ensemble-driven musical based on the true story of the 7,000 airline passengers stranded in Gander, Newfoundland on 9/11—and the town that welcomed them. With characters based on real people, the show explores themes of empathy, resilience, and the deep human instinct to help one another in times of crisis.

Come From Away features 12 actors who collectively portray over 80 characters, encompassing both the residents of Gander, Newfoundland, and the international passengers stranded there. Each actor assumes multiple roles, requiring versatility, emotional depth, and proficiency in a variety of dialects to authentically represent the diverse backgrounds and voices of the people involved.

WHAT TO PREPARE

• Please bring a headshot and/or resume if you have one.

• Please prepare 32 bars of an upbeat song in the style of the show, but not from Come From Away. An accompanist will be provided.

• Please bring your calendar to auditions to declare any scheduling conflicts Sundays through Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. between July 6 and September 3.

• Please review the "Newfoundland Audition Accent Packet" and be prepared to cold-read.  If you know any of the other accents in the show, please plan to share those as well: Texan, British RP, and/or any Middle Eastern Accent -- various authentic accents will be considered; a specific regional accent will be finalized in rehearsal.

• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled audition time to complete the audition forms.

REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES

Rehearsals begin on July 6 and run from Sundays through Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
