One of Weathervane’s Education initiatives is to connect with theater educators from the Northeast Ohio community and provide networking and professional development opportunities!

Community Education Partners

The primary goal of this group is to bring together theater educators from the Northeast Ohio community to bring forth discussions amongst educators and to explore how Weathervane Playhouse can be of support and act as a resource for theater programs.

Goals of the Group

  • Function as a clearinghouse for local high school and middle school theater programs (using our Education at Weathervane Playhouse Facebook) and other resources.
  • Help with future curriculum development.
  • Provide feedback on a professional development event we would like to provide for teachers in the summer or fall of 2018 and beyond.
  • Be a sounding board for future Weathervane shows that might be applicable for field trips.
