THE CREATIVE TEAM

DAVID HESS (Stage Manager) is a Cleveland native who has setled in Akron after several years in college and military service. A long time designer and sign-maker, he has worked in a number of behind-the-scenes duties at Weathevane, including lighting, props, sound, and scenic work. He was the assistant stage manager (and a flyman) for Weathervane's production of Smokey Joe's Cafe. With The Sisters Rosensweig, David makes his debut as a stage manager.

TODD DIERINGER (Scenic Designer) first began volunteering at Weathervane as the "fly guy" on the props crew for the summer 2005 production of The Rocky Horror Show. Since then, he has served on set-construction crew for every production -- 20 shows and counting! Todd has a bachelor's public relations from the University of Akron, where he also studied theater. Currently, he works at the University as an assistant systems administrator in the admissions office.

JENNIVER SPARANO (Costume Designer) is the co-producer and costume designer for our annual Community AIDS Network benefit productions. (Be sure to catch this year's show, Ruthless! The Musical, August 20 and 21!). With The Sisters Rosensweig, she is pleased to finally have the opportunity to work on a mainstage Weathervane production. An employee of KeyBank, she has designed costumes for theaters in and around the Cleveland area (the Beck Center for the Arts, Ensemble Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, Clague Playhouse) and also for theaters in Albany, New York, and Sanibel, Florida. She is happy and proud to interpret the work of her alumna sister, Wendy Wasserstein -- "All years are as one, and our loyal pledge shall be, Mt. Holyoke forever!"

ERIN KATZ FORD (Lighting Designer) became interested in technical theater as a student at Copley High School. She was the co-lighting designer for Weathervane's production of Charlotte's Web and she worked backstage on Stuart Little and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She also provided lighting-design assistance for The Chosen, The Sunshine Boys, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Erin has a bachelor's degree in Jewish studies and theater from Ohio State University and is the second year of a master's degree program as the Siegal College of Judaic Studies in Cleveland. She is employed as a family educator for Congregation Bethayno and is married to Kevin Ford, a longtime Weathervane volunteer.

JUDY WILLEMSEN (Sound Designer) celebrates her 20th year at Weathervane with this production of The Sisters Rosensweig.
