"Doubt: A Parable"

Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for best play, Doubt: A Parable is set in a Catholic school in the Bronx in 1964.
Sister Aloysius, a strong-minded woman, wrestles with conscience and uncertainty when she is faced with serious concerns about one of her male colleagues, Father Flynn.

Written by John Patrick Shanley — the Bronx-born-and-bred playwright and Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Moonstruck — Doubt: A Parable dramatizes issues straight from today’s headlines within a world re-created with knowing detail and a judicious eye.
Audience Advisory: Due to adult language and themes, this play is not suitable for children.
Doubt: A Parable is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The videotaping or other video or audio recording of this production is strictly prohibited.

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE VENUE
Doubt: A Parable is presented in Weathervane Playhouse's John L. Dietz Theater, the intimate 48-seat "second stage." All seats are sold on a general-admission basis ("first come, first seated"). Typically, seating for each performance begins 30 minutes before curtain. Ticketholders are encouraged to arrive no later than 10 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate break in the play's action. Doubt: A Parable is performed with NO intermission.

• Tuesdays through Fridays: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Performance Saturdays only: Noon to 5 p.m.
