Our first Dietz Theater production of the 2009-2010 season has just been cast!

 

Director Derek Davidson has just announced his cast for Edward Albee's incendiary drama, The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?

The production plays in the Playhouse's John L. Dietz Theater from Oct. 29 to Nov. 14, 2009. Tickets are $18 each and go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 1. This production is not suitable for children due to language and subject matter.

 

Here's a little bit about the show: An award-winning architect watches his life crumble after he admits to an adulterous affair in this highly provocative drama by the celebrated playwright of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” Framed by an engaging hybrid of dramatic realism and absurdism, Albee’s prototypical couple – a buttoned-up husband and a vulnerable wife – explodes all charades in a marital free-for-all that poses questions about the limits of acceptable morality. Winner of the 2003 Tony Award for Best Play.
